Oryana Community Co-op (West)

Oryana West (formerly Lucky’s Market) is a cooperatively-owned grocery store located in the Buffalo Ridge Shopping Center on Traverse City’s west side of town. We are open to the public and everyone is welcome to shop. Our goal is to provide high quality food produced in ecologically sound ways at fair value to owners and the community. Since our inception in 1973 we have supported local farmers and producers and believe that helping people to make informed choices about their own health and their impact on the environment helps our entire community. Shoppers visit Oryana for the best selection of natural, organic, fair-trade, and locally made products available. Our definition of ‘local’ is within 100 miles of our store and we carry a large selection of locally-sourced goods, from organic chocolate to locally roasted, fair-trade coffees, to kombucha, honey, milk, meat, jams, frozen vegetables, and body care products, to name just a few.

Our friendly, knowledgeable staff can help you find what you need. We carry many products for special dietary needs including vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other allergen-free items. Our fresh meat and seafood section offers a huge variety of high quality and local meats and seafood. Our kitchen offers plenty of delicious options for take-out food including hot pizza, sushi, deli salads and sandwiches, and dinner for two kits. We have a large beer and wine selection as well as a health and beauty department full of the highest quality supplements and natural body care products.
